Hive Kit - Complete First Year Setup

This is what we typically suggest to new beekeepers when purchasing their hive setup for year one of beekeeping. 

The kit includes:

1 bottom board
1 entrance reducer
1 varroa screen board
1 slatted rack
2 deep hive body                                                                                                                  1 metal queen excluder
1 medium honey super
1 inner cover
1 galvanized outer cover

20 (16) wax coated deep frames
10 (8) wax coated medium frames

These supplies are what you'd expect to need throughout the first year of keeping bees. You may add additional honey supers if your colony becomes very productive, but this is not a necessity.
