Hive Kit - Basic Beginner Setup

This kit includes the essentials, just the very basic items you'll want to have on hand when you begin to establish a new colony.

The kit includes:

1 bottom board
1 entrance reducer
1 varroa screen board
1 deep hive body
1 inner cover
1 galvanized outer cover

10 (8) wax coated frames

If you were talking to us in the store, this is probably not what we'd recommend to you. You'll likely need to add more boxes to your colony. Our recommendation is to purchase the "First Year Hive Setup Kit" for a more complete hive.
